Our 6th has the annual teachers vs pupils basketball game today and after we had a new activity that's provided great entertainment.

We are so lucky to be able to have support from Trinity College. Our 6th class have worked with them since 5th class .TAP partners with local schools to encourage students to think about college as an option from an early age. They run programs to build skills and confidence. Our past pupils have greatly benefited from these programs and so many are having very successful academic journeys.

Each year TAP awards 6 students from 6th the Primary Achievement Award.
Congratulations to Zainab, Conor,Gabija, Rocco, Talin and Andrew.

Our 3rd Class students had a wonderful time on their recent trip to Collins Barracks, part of the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts & History.

The children explored a wide range of fascinating exhibits, learning about Ireland’s military and social history in an engaging and interactive way. One of the highlights of the day was getting to try on replica army uniforms, which gave the students a hands-on feel for life as a soldier in the past. There was plenty of excitement and laughter as they stepped into the shoes of history!

We’ve been soaking up the sunshine and making the most of these beautiful days! Inspired by the bright weather, we decided to bring some of that sunshine indoors by creating our very own Sunflower Door to brighten up the classroom!”

Fourth class visited Kilmainham Gaol last week . It was a very interesting tour and it was great for them to see such a historic local site . They had worked hard on history over year’s previous weeks and their guide was very impressed with their knowledge of Irish history.
